A couple of weeks ago, David and I both got library cards.
Our mailing address is Roanoke, but apparently our taxes go to Fort Worth, so
we had to pay a small fee to join the Roanoke library. No big deal because
we’ve already been too many times to count. I don’t know an exact number, but I
know we have saved a lot of money by checking out books and movies instead of
buying them.
I enjoy getting books by authors that I haven’t read yet.
That way if I don’t like their writing style, I didn’t waste any money.
David has LOVED checking out DVDs. I think he’s already
gotten 20. He can watch movies and work at the same time; I can’t.
I’ve also gotten some books and DVDs for the children I take
care of for my work’s after-school program.
It was definitely a good decision for us to join the
library. Now to find the time to watch
the movies I borrowed.
