This weekend is going to be filled with lots of great
things. I’m leaving Friday afternoon to head to the Westhill Ladies’ Retreat in
Salado. I’m very excited to see some friends from preaching school and newer
friends from the Westhill congregation. I know I’ll be hearing good lessons
from Cindy Colley.
Saturday I’ll head home and try to make it back in time for
the two events our church is having. First is ladies’ Bible class. There has only
been one class since we’ve lived here and it was beneficial for me. Right after
that, maybe even overlapping, is the junior high and high school devotional.
David’s giving the lesson, so I really want to be there to support him.
David is preaching on Sunday. I never get tired of listening
to him teach about God. If you’re in the north Texas area, stop in and worship
with us in Roanoke at the Roanoke Church of Christ.
